Do you feel the want of getting into all the hobbies out there? If yes, we are in the same boat. I had a huge list of hobby bucket list that never saw the light of day. I decided to lock on to one hobby of type Physical, Creative, and Intellectual.
Here is the list of immediate hobbies in mind
Physical
- Running
- Badminton
- Skateboarding
- Cycling
- Gym
- Table Tennis
Creative
- Drawing
- Video Graphy
- Guitar
- House Gardening
Intellectual
- Reading
- Chess
- Learning language
- Writing
Now, this is overwhelming to fit into my life with the time and capital I have. So I decided to keep 2, no, I can't be happy with one. Starting with physical. Badminton is staying for sure. The second one, I want to go cycling and skateboarding. A big but on that was I ran 2 marathons, and I love the concept of it. They don't care who comes first or last; you get a medal and appreciation for completion. Isn't that how life should be? And I got a good running buddy too. Now I only play table tennis in the office. I like it, I got a cool racket. I'm not considering it a full-fledged hobby, but I will keep smashing & skining in the office. Finally, the gym was out of the list even before it started. I know I gain and all, but it's no more fun.

Next to Creative. Drawing is the sole winner in the list. Second in the list would be a musical instrument, but it was hard to find a teacher for adults. I agree, I felt shy imagining sitting between kids and learning. Then came a knock on the door. Say a post in underline center for guitar beginner classes. What more to ask? I went full on. Connected with Aanchal. She is a songwriter and singer. After being impressed by her Spotify playlist, I didn't even think twice. Confirmed, bought myself a guitar this week.
Buying the guitar - Went to 2 shops. First to Soundblitz, the music guy was super cool and had a great variety of electric guitars. He & claude suggested me to go for a basic Yamaha guitar, F280. Can't believe I was thinking of going full on and spending 22k, thanks to my friend for pulling me back. Sound-Blitz had a black F280, which didn't feel like me. Went to the next door shop "Music House", this wasn't a "coool" place, but they had what I wanted. Damn, the moment they unboxed the guitar, I knew it was made for me.
Attended my first guitar class, loved it.

Next to Intellectual. Straight picked reading and writing. I like chess, but I already have coding to strain my brain.
