Yo! 🙋 So in Bangalore, this so-called rainy season, which rains exactly when everyone leaves from office, started, and because of this, the metro got altered, and I had to wait till the crowds got piled up and took the metro and couldn't get in at Chalakatta.
So I thought, okay, why not go somewhere, and I went to IKEA at a late time. I had a friend of mine with me, another IKEA freak, had dinner, and bought one or two things as usual. No-crowd-IKEA is the best IKEA. The whole vibe was relaxing, with rain and dark outside.
In my office, our team director came. Marcos had some meetings and all blah blah, and then went to this place called The 13th floor. It is on Church Street, which I never knew about. Yes, this restaurant is on the 13th floor. They had a great view, you could look at the whole Chinnaswamy Stadium and the metro curve. Their food was fine, it was all indian style, especially the prawns that they gave in a wine glass, it was super good, but the highlight was the desserts. All the desserts they had, except for the cheesecakes (it was heavy after a meal ), were so good, especially the one I don't know the name of, it was in the first of the desserts, super good. I will definitely go there for the view and the dessert.
Went to Cubbon Park, took some cool pictures I posted on Instagram, and went to go native.
I took my first consultancy at a dermatologist; she gave some advice on skin care routines, and I should use my sunscreen throughout the day, not just before leaving for the office. Apparently, my neck is also sensitive like my face, so I have to apply all the care to it too. Finally, I had to spend 6,900 on creams and things. I was like, let's take a leap of faith and see if it works.
I went shopping, and I couldn't find anything. I tried my usuals, Uniqlo and H&M. Concluded on ordering from myntra.
I went to my friend's place, Manan. We used to work together when I was doing my first internship in Bangalore; it was nostalgic. We did talk a lot about tech and career. We were playing Tekken, and I played that Ghost of Yōtei; it got some nice graphics. I feel I'm not a gaming guy; I didn't feel relaxed when I played it. I tend to get more relaxed when a movie plays.
